The Peru Mission and Lead Team left July 25th to serve in Cachora, Peru at The Village of the Children, an orphanage housing roughly 30 orphans. They will lead a Bible Club, celebrate Peru’s Independence Activities on July 28th, and minister to the village of Cachora. The team will also spend some time traveling in Lima, Peru with Missionary Jim Neal of the IMB. The team consists of 9 High School graduates and incoming seniors: Sara Jane Filippini, Faith Anne Richardson, Madeline Senter, Samuel Soape, Christian Padilla, Wimberleigh Johnson, Kate Faught, Ashley Anderson, and Lauren Oefinger. The adult team members are Terry and James Taylor, Matthew Haak, Dave Rhomfeld and Savannah Mora. The team will return August 6th. Please pray for translators that communicate The Gospel clearly and team safety in the high altitudes of Peru.
