Another day full of energetic kiddos! Fun and love was enjoyed by all. Crafts, Bible lessons, music, and games…secret agents are all over the place!
Tomorrow is the day that the youth are rewarded by a trip into Albuquerque to an amusement park. Pray for energy for all the adults going with them!
Work continued on the siding, sheetrock, and the deck and handicapped ramp. The inspector dropped by today for the last check up and was invited to join us for lunch. He was so impressed by the delicious pulled pork that had been cooked and sent with us by Norm Cook that he almost decided to fail them on the inspection just so he would have to drop by at lunchtime tomorrow. We have been very grateful for the amazing meals prepared beforehand by the Brevards, the Locks, and Norm Cook and then prepared daily by our wonderful kitchen crew. Brad and Pat Thompson have driven in from Santa Fe everyday to help feed the team after VBS.
This afternoon was a fun time of sightseeing in the beautiful, diverse Jemez mountains and the Calderas.
I wouldn’t want to brag but it only took us one try at finding wildlife to see dozens of prairie dogs and over 100 elk. Maybe we’re a slightly quieter bunch than the Alaskan choir team…
